DETAILS

In Part II of the Basics of Hand Sewing series, Madhu Rathnasekar, creator at Arya Trinkets & Threads will guide you through 2 (maybe 3) more hand stitches! These stitches could be used to stitch fabric together or embroider. The pace of the class will depend on the experience level/ interest of the people attending. For this session, you will need the following: Fabric- something easy to hold and easy to sew on. Felt is recommended for beginners. Needle Yarn- embroidery yarn preferably, but any yarn will work. Make sure that the yarn will pass through the eye of the needle. A pair of scissors Needle Threader (Optional) Thimble (optional) Embroidery Hoop (Optional)- Make sure that your fabric is big enough to fit on the hoop. Please consider saving fabric from landfills for your projects! FABSCRAP's scrap packs are great for beginners. Suggested donation for this Workshop: $10. Your donation allows us to provide a stipend to our Workshop Instructors for their time in sharing their skills with the FABSCRAP Community.
