Ruby Gertz (@spokesandstitches) is a part-time fashion designer and seamstress who loves working with cut-and-sew knits! "Cut and sew" refers to garments that are cut out from fabric yardage, as opposed to knitwear that is "full fashion," or knitted into specific shapes like sleeves before being sewn together. In this workshop, Ruby will go over how to trace off a pattern from your favorite tee shirt (without taking it apart) so that you can capture a flattering silhouette and recreate a wardrobe staple in different fabrics.
